Scotty McCreery is the latest country star to hook up with the cast of "Duck Dynasty."  CountryWeekly.com says the former "American Idol" winner recently traveled to West Monroe, Louisiana for Sadie Robertson's 16th birthday party, and gave a special performance at the event.

His set included his latest single, "See You Tonight," while he welcomed Sadie's dad Willie and her brother John Luke to join him in a rendition of "Man of Constant Sorrow."

At the CMA Music Festival earlier this month, Scotty mentioned that he knew Sadie.  He explained that he met her through Twitter, recalling that he invited her to see him perform at the Grand Ole Opry after noticing her tweet about being in Nashville.  Scotty said they've continued to stay in touch via Twitter.

In recent months a number of other country singers have also forged friendships with the "Duck Dynasty" cast.  Stars from the A&E series appear in music videos with Darius Rucker and Tyler Farr, while Thomas Rhett joined cast members for a charity event back in April.
