|MADACC works with over 75 area shelters and rescue groups to place animals into adoption programs so they have a second chance at finding a permanent, caring home.|
The Rescue Railroad is a network of volunteers that transport animals from over populated shelters to rescues that can get them adopted into good homes. These Kritters start their journey early on Saturday mornings and are handed off 20 -25 times from car to car every 50+ miles. Volunteers use their own cars, gas, time and doggie treats to bring these animals to safety. Big time props to those amazing people and places like Fluffy Dog Rescue in Hartland where many of these dogs find loving families.
